RAGBRAI Mason City announces route into town on July 23

RAGBRAI Mason City announces the route that ride participants will be taking as they arrive in to Mason City on Wednesday, July 23.  According to Mason City Police Chief, Mike Lashbrook, the riders will be coming in on 12th Street, turning South on Pierce, then East on 1st Street NW to Washington, South to State Street then East to East Park where the majority will be camping for the evening.

This route will allow the participants to ride by all of the activities in Downtown Mason City before they head to their final destination of the campgrounds and areas surrounding.  Many are expected to stop by Central Park and experience downtown on their way…others will ride by, get adjusted at the campgrounds or final destinations and join us back downtown for the festivities throughout the day and evening.
